Vidaripay E-Vendor Payment – Terms of Service

Welcome to Vidaripay! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you can use the Vidaripay E-Vendor Payment service as a registered vendor, agent, or business partner.
By registering and using our platform, you agree to follow these Terms and comply with any applicable local laws and regulations.
Eligibility
To use Vidaripay E-Vendor services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your country)
- Provide accurate and verifiable identity and business information
- Operate from a supported country or region
- Be a business or individual handling payments, such as shops, salons, restaurants, resorts, hotels, lodges, online sellers, service providers, or any other business involved in payment-related activities
Registration & Verification
- You agree to provide accurate and complete KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) documents, including a valid ID, proof of address, and business license where applicable.
- You must submit a selfie with your ID for identity verification.
- Vidaripay may request additional documents or reject applications at its discretion.
Currency Conversion & Payments
- Payments you receive from customers may be converted to your local currency using Vidaripay’s current exchange rates.
- Conversion fees or service charges may apply and will be clearly communicated.
- Payouts are made via approved methods, such as mobile money, bank transfers, or cash agents, depending on your region.
Account Security
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
- Notify Vidaripay immediately if you notice any unauthorized access or unusual activity in your account.
- Vidaripay is not responsible for losses from compromised credentials, except in cases of our negligence.
Fees & Charges
- Vidaripay may charge fees for transactions, currency conversion, or withdrawals, which will be listed on your dashboard.
- Fees can change, and we will notify you of any updates via the platform or your registered email.
Suspension & Termination
Vidaripay may suspend or close your account if you:
- Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information
- Violate platform rules, these Terms, or applicable laws
- Engage in suspicious, fraudulent, or illegal activity
In such cases, funds may be withheld temporarily or permanently during investigation or as required by law. We may take necessary actions to protect the platform and its users.
Data Protection & Privacy
- Vidaripay is a registered data controller in Rwanda and Nigeria. We collect and store your personal and business data in compliance with applicable laws (e.g., NCSA in Rwanda, NDPR in Nigeria, GDPR for EU users, and other relevant laws).
- Your information will never be sold or shared without your consent, except where required by law or regulators.
Regulatory Compliance
By using Vidaripay, you agree to follow all applicable laws and regulations, including:
- Rwanda: RURA (data protection) and BNR (financial regulations)
- Nigeria: NDPR (enforced by NDPC) and CBN regulations (financial regulations)
- Other local or regional financial and data protection laws in countries where Vidaripay operates
Vidaripay holds the licenses, registrations, and approvals it currently needs and is actively working on obtaining other required licenses in countries where it plans to operate.
Vidaripay works with licensed partners to provide certain financial services, including a correspondent bank recognized by the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR), ensuring operations comply with local regulations.
Users also agree to comply with all Vidaripay policies when using the platform.
Limitation of Liability
Vidaripay is not responsible for:
- Delays, interruptions, or disruptions caused by third-party networks, banks, or payment processors
- Losses from foreign exchange rate changes
- Losses due to your own errors, negligence, or misuse of the platform
- Any indirect or consequential damages, such as loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Where the law does not allow limits on liability, Vidaripay’s responsibility will be limited to the maximum extent permitted.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via the platform or your registered email. Continuing to use the service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
